Family and Friends

The greatest and most memorable part of the holidays is always those moments with family and friends that you treasure and hold close to your heart. Can you believe that there are three generations sitting together.
We are so grateful for the time we got to spend with Great-Grandpa because little did we know at the time but he work here on this earth was to come to an end soon. Grandpa was a man of strength and love and he had an influence on all around him, even the young.
His energy and love was felt anytime you were near him. We love Grandpa and know that he is busy doing the work the Lord needs him to do and watching over each of us here.
Grandma is a sure delight as well. She is full of so much LOVE and never hestitates to share hugs and tender touches with all others around her.
We also got the chance to visit our dear friends that had moved away from California back to Utah. We miss them so much but it was fun to catch up and see how well things are going for them and meet their new friends. The kids played together as if no time had pasted.
Sarah and Colton took every chance they could to get their Aunt Lora to play games with them. Monopoly was one favorite and Aunt Lora had lots of patience with both kids and took the time to teach Colton even more about the game. He is becoming quite skilled at board games.
We also got to spend quality time with Uncle Brandon and Aunt Nicole. It was so nice for them to adventure out into the cold, wet and snowy weather to come see us night after night. We truly enjoy the time we get to spend with them. They have such a great glow and spirit about them that everyone can feel around them and the kids love that too.
After all the activities and getting to visit everyone we love the kids were absolutely pooped out!! Ashlyn was sleeping too, in her car seat. Jay and I were talking and enjoying the peace and hoping the little nap would sustain the kids for another afternoon.
We hope our family and friends know how much we love them and miss them even across the many miles. We wish we got to see everyone more often. But we hope they all know they are in our thoughts and prayers always!!
