Annual Hansen Family Easter Egg Hunt

Once again this year we enjoyed the Hansen Family's Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt! Sarah and Colton both had a great time and found lots of eggs! Sarah is always smiling when it comes to candy!

The eggs were hidden HIGH and low.
Jay even enjoys the festivities with the kids! He is a great seeker! We all are just kids at heart!
We also have lots of fun with our friends.

Ninja in the House

Colton began Tae Kwon Do training in February and now two months later he has progressed to the point which he can move up in belt and he gets to participate in the belt test process. He is always very focused and attentive. We are truly proud of the respectful, caring boy he is becoming. He is proud to be a Ninja and part of the Karate world.

They test in small groups.

Colton and Mr. Low ready to fight off the enemies. We really appreciate Mr. Low's enthusiasm and positive attitude with all the kids. He makes them work hard too.

Easter Day

Easter morning was exciting and fun!! The children found their treats in a flash and were thrilled with each new egg and the anticipation of more candy inside. It was a BLAST!
Sarah was thrilled with the coloring book and playdoh.
Colton did not leave any corner undiscovered to find the eggs.
It was a very SUNNY day yet the kids, smilely eyes and all, looked so cute!

My Good Looking Boys!
This is a priceless moment that we finally caught on camera!
Easter is certainly a family holiday and since there is no family nearby we enjoy the holiday with our close friends, the Wunders and the Holms. This was the second Easter with the Holms. The kids always play and have lots of fun. They enjoyed re-hiding the eggs from the Easter Bunny. And we enjoyed a great Easter dinner together.
And we can't forget the bunny we ate for dessert, yummy!!

Easter Moments

We went to the mall this year to get pictures with the Easter Bunny. Needless to say the trip did not go quiet as well as hope for because here are our Easter pictures and I think the Easter Bunny might still be hiding from Sarah and her hysteric streaming. Hopefully we will enjoy the fluffy bunny next year because third time was not a charm.

(What a little princess)
We couldn't go one holiday without making a gingerbread house or hutch and decorating with candy. It has become our family tradition and we have lots of fun every holiday.
HAPPY EASTER!

Moments Not to Forget

The kids enjoyed the stop at the Bounce House Place in Elk Grove on the way to the airport in March. There is never a dull moment on the bouncing equipment. The kids were all smiles!! We even made a stop at the Sacramento Temple with Grandma (see is behind the camera). Even the grounds radiate a wonderful spirit that we all enjoyed. This picture symbolizes to us what the temple is all about, Eternal Families, what a glorious blessing. Another exciting event that has been going on are Colton's ice skating lessons with his friend Kylee. Here he is practicing technique as he skates around the rink.
The experience always brought smiles to Colton's face and come to find out he ain't too bad for a beginner. But the experience really perked his interest in hockey. We will see where it all leads, perhaps just lots of FUN!
Through every moment of everyday there is never a dull moment with Miss Sarah Ann crowning princess of our house. She keeps life going and us on our toes.
We love our kids and certainly treasure the joys and moments that they bring to our lives on a daily basis. They are growing up so very fast.

Life Has Taken Hold

So it seems more often than not that life takes hold and runs away with you. Lately my blog has become direct evidence of that and I apologize to our friends and family that want to see how we are doing and think that nothing is happening. Well life is treating us well and I am going to dedicate this weekend to updating the Oman Family blog so please stay tuned! We love you all and wish you well.
