Oman Family Reunion

Moon Lake Camp grounds the true stomping grounds for the Oman family for generations, now. This year the lake was breath taking there was no beach but it was to full capacity. The air was cool and sunny skies and thank goodness very few bugs which I love.

Ain't she CUTE, posing for the camera! CHEEEESE! What a good-looking Boy, tough fisher too! And here is the Man of my Dreams, oh wait that is my husband, I don't have to dream about him. He is by myside everyday and I Love him so much. This is Brown Duck Creek, one of the many that feed into Moon Lake and created some of the best fishing for us at the mouth of the creek. Yep, we tented it. The first night it was only Jay and Colton but then Sarah and I joined the tent team for the next night because ain't that what camp'n is all about?! It was only below 40 degrees and we were all bundled up good. We all had fun. We could've done without the little critters, ground squirrels I think, squiring outside the tent while we were trying to sleep. It reminded me of my hamsters growing up that were in my room. But at least this year it was critters instead of the cows that were brushing the tent last year. Sarah found a new best bud. She wanted to do everything that her big cousin Avery did. And they both were trying so hard to be "Cute." Colton caught a total of 4 fish while we were camping. Here I am helping him reel one in, it was pretty big! That a way Colton! He was so proud of his fish which he ate some of, too. Sarah even tried her hand at fishing and caught one, too. She wasn't quite as excited about catching the fish. She just liked holding the fishing pole and then later eating the fish. Look at my Fish! Mommy loook at me!! (Ain't she Big stuff!) Everyone loaded up in the truck to drive down to the trail head to go fishing. Lynn was even on board with us after a small accident the previous day when she swatted a fly and got the hook stuck in her finger. She is one tough woman!! We are all ready for the annual lake hike to the creek where Jay, his brothers and Dad like to fly fish. We just enjoy the hike and lunch on the rocks on the other side. We made it to the otherside and there was even an old outhouse waiting for us. No one used it! Grandpa and a few of his grandkids. Some of the others weren't there yet. But this trip the kids span Alexandria - 1, Sarah - 2, Nicholas - 3, Avery - 4, Colton - 5, then Michael - 7, Alyssa - 11(I believe) and Tyler - 13(Our resident teenager of the bunch) What a crew!!!
