Our New Addition Already has a Birthday

So we are officially 30weeks along.
The baby is extremely active and as usual my belly just keeps growing. I have 10 weeks left but I am hoping the time goes by quickly.
I had an appointment with my doctor today and baby's heart beat sounds great. Sarah loved listening to the baby. Last time Colton got to come and he commented "I didn't know your tummy was so tall." Even the kids have priceless comments about my belly. But we all love hearing the baby's heart beat each month. I love the reassurance that the heart beat brings as if every moment of the day when my insides are being treated like a punching bag was not enough reassurance.:)
But the exciting moment in today's appointment was that we got to schedule the baby's Birthday.
We are scheduled for a repeat c-section on April 28th at 9am. It is really nice to know the exact day and time that we will be blessed with our new baby Oman. I am really looking forward to the experience. There are plenty of bummers with c-section but being able to know ahead of time the day and time is pretty cool.
So the 10 week count down begins until the great surprise is revealed.

What an Amazing Experience

We are so excited about the addition to our family. Pregnancy is going, it has been just long enough that I had forgotten all the fun pregnancy is but it is so worth every moment once you have the little miracle in your arms. What a gift from God!! But I didn't include our due date which is May 1 but we are already planning on the baby entering this beautiful world about a week or so early because the date will be scheduled. We so appreciate all the love and support of our family and friends. I don't know what we would do without all the wonderful people that fill our lives. I will continue to give updates as we get closer.
And here is also a little baby dust, sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle, for any that are wanting to bring more joy to their families. And for those who don't need any just blow that dust away.

Christmas FUN!

What is Christmas without making German Christmas cookies, yummy and fun! This is Jay's all time favorite Christmas tradition and it has been a joy to make it our family Christmas tradition as well. The kids love helping dump the in the ingredients and mix the dough. Best most of all they love cutting out the cookies.
Oh, the mess that cookies can make especially the flour.
Sarah had lots of Fun entertaining the parents during her Christmas program but the book exchange and present for Mom and Dad were her highlights.
Decorating their very own gingerbread girl and boy with all the icing and sprinkles they could imagine. To me all I see is a tummy ache but a artistic creation as well.
Colton was going for the blue pirate gingerbread boy look and of course Sarah's was a pink princess. Whatever the project or activity, Christmas is all about family time and memories and our Christmas included many moments around cookies and we all enjoy them.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving has passed and now it is time to put up Christmas decorations. By far my absolute favorite time of year and favorite decorations to have around. There is so much JOY that comes with Christmas and we love it. Colton found the Santa hat and was dressed up like Santa for days and Sarah was his Elf well a Princess Elf at least.
It was amazing weather for us Thanksgiving weekend so we made a trip...to the Park! One of our family's all time favorite outings. Sarah is following along with Colton and climbs all over the play ground sets now! She has good balance like him all though she is more cautious and hestitant, but I am OK with that.
He is our Monkey Boy and enjoys coming up with silly poses for the Kodak moment!
Lowe's Build and Grow projects are always a treat for our family. This was Sarah's first time to actually complete her own project and I must say she did quite well. She didn't hit my fingers once while hammering and hammered the nails in all the way. Of course, her favorite part was the stickers. As for Colton, he is old hat at make the projects and cruised right through. He is a great builder with very good fine motor skills, too. We all had lots of FUN!
Our little builders, aren't they CUTE!! We certainly love them!

I am SO Grateful

Well Thanksgiving Day has come and gone by the feelings still remain. We had a wonderful day with our friends, ate way too much and of course watched football and let the kids play. Those were great moments of the holiday but through it all I was feeling grateful for EVERYTHING that the Lord has blessed me with:
My Savior, His example and Atonement
My family, the gift of creation and bringing beautiful children into the world, which by the way we are pregnant with number 3 and are absolutely thrilled
Our home, work and the many other things that fill our lives
Friends, what would I do without friends
Freedom to learn and grow and worship as I choose
Education
And the list goes on but these are a few of the things that fill my heart with gratitude this Thanksgiving and I wanted to share my testimony with my friends and family that I know all these things are blessings directly from my Heavenly Father who loves me unconditionally and I am humbled by His care and Love.
I hope that you all had a Beautiful holiday and if you haven't yet, take a moment and remember why you are thankful!! And know I am thankful for you, your love and friendship! God bless!

We LOVE Nana!

"Nana, Nana Look at me!!" Was a popular saying during the week that Nana came to visit us. What a treat it was that Nana came from Texas to California to play with us and so we could enjoy her company!
Sarah loves to play in the sick but keeping the water contained is not her specialty.
Sarah and Nana had fun playing Baby dolls!
And Colton was so excited to have his Nana visiting and he wanted to show off all the cool Legos that he had built.
Nana's are one of a kind and we are blessed to have a great one who loves that kids so dearly!
And we love Nana!

Family, we all love Soccer

When we found out that Aunt Nicole was at Stanford here in California for play-offs for soccer we had to take a family trip with Nana to go see her. We were able to visit with her at the hotel and the go to dinner with her and the team at the Olive Garden. It was lots of fun and another great experience getting to know Nicole better.
Colton adores his "world-famous" soccer playing Uncles and Aunt. He was quite excited to get to see Nicole although he was bummed that we were not able to make one of her games. Since Colton's last soccer game was at the same time as Nicole's.
Colton LOVES soccer and had a fun and good season.

He was lucky enough to receive a trophy and medal. But by the look on his face you would think he thinks that he is just that good and knows it, huh?! But really it was a bad photo op, sorry!
And we have to include a picture of Colton's biggest and cutest cheerleader, Sarah! She enjoyed going to the soccer games, if nothing else to play with the camera and her baby doll outside.
But whomever is playing and for whatever occassion we truly enjoy soccer!!
