Here comes Purple belt!

Colton is moving on Up the degrees of Belts for Tae Kwon DoHere Colton is preparing for his test for his Purple belt a new level and experience in Karate.

Once he passed his test then he used his skills and strength to break a board. Watch out for Colton he is a very strong boy with lots of focus.

KI-YA!! He broke apart his purple belt ready to move up to the next level.

All smiles and proud of himself for a great accomplishment. We are so Proud too. Karate has been a wonderful teaching tool for Colton and he loves it.

We truly appreciate Mr. Lo and everything that he teaches Colton and what a great example he is to our son.

First week of Preschool for Sarah

She is growing up faster than Fast!Sarah's first day of Preschool at Central Methodist Nursery School. She is part of a two days a week 2yr old program with parent participation.

She is looking forward to see what the future holds for her in her preschool program with Mrs. Barbie and Ms. Angel, whom she adores.

The absolute best part of Sarah's class are all the fantastic art and messy projects she gets to do everytime she enters the classroom. Mrs. Barbie said that Sarah has definitely done the most projects of the class, she has set a record.

The sandbox and princess scooter in the back play yard are her other two delights of preschool. We are proud of our little Fireball Princess Girl and are so happy with the program she gets to be a part of and look forward to all her growth this year.

Every trip we take we pass the salt of the Salt Lake, this time we stoppedOur trip was full of great wonders, including exploring the salty ground from the Great Salt Lake and Salt Flats.

We loved creating and playing at the Museum. Colton made his own dinosaur.

Brandon was a kid again playing in all the interactive areas with Colton and Sarah.

Jay and Sarah both had lots of Fun as did the whole family. There were great memories created that afternoon that won't be forgotten.

DINOSAURS!! Fun at the Museum

The Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum is a must see and it had been years since Colton and I had adventure through the exhibit. So we thought it would be a great family treat to go again and with Nana, Granddaddy, Brandon and Nicole. Sure enough the trip was full of FUN, laughter, and Smiles!

Sarah and Colton were amazed at the size of the dinosaurs. And Loved the water and sand play area. Even Brandon created the ultimate creek and dinosuar land.

Granddaddy shared his vast knowledge and excitement with Colton throughout the exhibit.

We tried to size up against the T-rex but our size was no comparison only the LOVE in our family can compare to the size of a dinosaur.
We had a wonderful time!

Utah trip for Brandon's Graduation and FUN

Well we made another trip to Utah this year and this time in honor of Brandon's Graduation. It was also a great time to spend with family. Unfortunately our camera's battery was dead so we didn't get all the pictures that we would have liked. Here are a few of fun moments. After graduation we all went to Ruby River for lunch and had a fantastic time, eating peanuts and telling stories. We always loved the precious time with Nana, Granddaddy, our Uncles and Aunts and also getting to know Nicole's family.

Colton's FIrst Day of Kindergarten

Colton was thrilled to head out for his first day of Kindergarten!! It was a family event to drop him off for the first day. What a handsome little man he is and we are so Proud of him!
Here we are outside of his classroom. In California, most schools are outdoor campuses. So there are groups of buildings that make up the Elementary School and every classroom has its own door to the common area, very different than the schools that Jay and I attended as kids.
Colton walked right in like a little pro with no need of help from Mom or Dad. We stood around for about 10minutes until the teacher asked the kids to wave goodbye and we all left. I have to admit I was fighting back tears as I saw my little boy settle in and begin his many years of education. I hope he succeeds, I know he will, and loves to learn and grows in knowledge that propells him through a life of success. But right now I am proud of him and his excitement for school. We love his teacher, Mrs. Roberts, she is fantastic.

They grow up so very fast!!

LDS Family Night at the Ports Baseball Game

A Spectacular Night at our families first Port's Baseball Game. We went because it was LDS Family Night. All the area missionaries where there to support the Mission President, who threw out the first pitch. And throughout the evening there where lots of fun "Mormon" games, example is a Green Jello eating contest and more. Sarah was enjoying herself until during the National Anthem she was scared as the Bombs bursted in air(Fireworks). From that moment until probably 3rd inning she was curled up in my lap, would not even look up. But then she settled in and we even got a smile.
Baseball, the American past-time!

It was a fun night with baseball, funnel cake and pretty phenomenal fireworks! We really enjoyed ourselves and Sarah still talks about the game and fireworks.
